Associates Support the Carver Mead New Adventures Fund

You may have heard of Carver Mead. But even if you haven't, your day-to-day world is shaped by technologies that can be traced back to him and his protégés at Caltech. A group of his former students, including many Associates, such as Marina Chen, Lounette Dyer, Ted Jenkins, Phil Neches, and others, joined together in 2014 to establish the Carver Mead New Adventures Fund at Caltech to provide seed funding in the Division of Engineering and Applied Science for researchers with interesting—perhaps even "crazy"—ideas.
